Wings of EPOH is an uplifting story of a young boy struggling with an autism spectrum disorder. The boy, Matthew, takes a journey with an empathetic butterfly named Epoh, hope spelled backward, and together they unveil the talents, abilities and courage that lie within.

Wing of EPOH was written by acclaimed author and Holocaust survivor, Gerda Weissmann Klein, whose story was made into the Oscar- and Emmy-winning film, One Survivor Remembers, and illustrated by New York Times best-selling illustrator and educational innovator, Peter H. Reynolds. The story demonstrates the power of hope, personal courage, tolerance and acceptance of those who are different.

The book and animated film (on DVD), produced in collaboration with the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) are complemented by an Educator Activity Guide for parents and teachers, which is designed to engage elementary school students in meaningful experiences that encourage them to explore the way they treat others based on similarities and differences.
